Sexual Secrets Drawings

A small selection of the over 600 drawings I did for my book, co-authored with Nik Douglas, Sexual Secrets, the Alchemy of Ecstasy (1979). The work was truly a labor of love as I transcribed images from the different cultures, feeling I absorbed them as I did so. I also made contemporary imagery to translate the concept of sacred sexuality to a modern world, including drawings of myself and my partner illustrating the various yoga postures. With all the drawings I adopted a style that I hoped would be as accessible as possible.
