Ophelia

A photo series I did with a young woman called Liz Saville. I painted her in silver body paint and she lay in my bathtub, surrounded by pink roses and gold powder sprinkled on the surface of the water. I wanted to capture that moment when living flesh turns into statue, shot in a bath, one of my favorite canvases.
