Recent Photography

A small selection of images from the many shoots I have done over recent years.

The Marya Stark images were done for her album The Garden. I came up with the concept and styled the shoot. When I had the materials assembled, it was Marya’s own hands that put the flowers on the skirt, the parts of the head dress together. This created a bond to the materials and process, not just the final outcome. I asked an airbrush artist, Icarus, to do the airbrushed body painting, painted my studio white and shot the photo series. From these I designed the album art. I took the photos into Painter, using its brushes to develop my compositions.

The shoots I did with dancer Jessica Hahn and singer Ixchel Prisma were also developed in Painter.

Entwine is a music video by my partner Dhiren Dasu. We shot the video and photos in our studio.

In the N series my fascination with dolls/mannequins is further pursued. My model had a life size ‘doll’ with a scan of her own face. This presented a compellingly surreal scenario. Here are a few shots from the series.
