Women & Water/ Island Art

The series I call Women and Water was a ‘passion project’ I was doing, alongside my Amerindian works, while living in the islands. I sought to express, through images of different women from different cultures, the sensations I was experiencing by living in this tropical paradise, overlooking one of the world’s top beaches. It was such a pure sensual immersion, a love affair with nature in her most delicious form, and this series was made to communicate those feelings, this drenching in sun and sea and sand, this merging with the elements.
