I used the copy machine to make a number of mono prints and collages in the mid 1970s. I liked the immediacy of the process, and the fact that it was a true self portrait, not requiring a photographer, just myself and the machine. The Feet of Vishnu collages were my version Tantric Hindu art where the footprint of Vishnu (Lord of Preservation) is depicted covered in symbols which denote his qualities. Here I embellished my own xeroxed footprint.
